Vacation is the time to rest and the time to enjoy because there is nothing to worry about like the requirements, assignments and the project. I can say that a long vacation in the summer is not anymore applicable in the college years especially if the course is nursing. ‘Coz in this course, we have some summer classes to attend to but it’s usually your choice if you want to attend or not.
Last April 2008, I have to choose between two things: to have a vacation for five days or to attend my NSTP graduation. It is difficult to choose because it’s my first time to have a vacation in manila and on the other hand, it is also my first time to attend an NSTP graduation. But in the end, I chose to go to manila and not attend the said activity. The certificate was given on me when I already arrived from manila.
I really enjoyed the five days vacation.. The scary part is on the airport kasi it’s my first time and my aunt, uncle and grandmother is on the other plane and they were the first to go so I travel to manila all by myself.. They just wait on the manila airport so that sabay na kami magpunta sa pasay. Iniwan lang naming ang iba naming gamit sa bahay dun sa pasay and at around 12 am, nagbiyahe kami papunta Baguio. Well, it’s my first time to go there kaya exciting. We arrived there at around 6 in the morning and we rented a house and stay there for how many hours. The rest of the day, todo laag lang sa Baguio. We also went sa PMA, oh my gosh talaga yong mga sundalo doon.. The way they walk, parang robot kasi sabay talaga.. We only stayed 1 day at Baguio though we plan to stay there 2 days. We decided to go back in manila earlier than the expected because ala na masyado place na mapuntahan. Our next stop is at Laguna. We stayed 2 days there because we allot 1 day for Enchanted Kingdom and 1 day for Splash Island. Unfortunately, I’m not able to ride at the space shuttle because it is under rehab..(murag nakadrugs..joke..) I enjoyed most is the Flying fiesta (if u wear sandals, todo kapit dapat ang paa mo para hindi mahulog), Rio grande (always expect that you will go out wet if you enter in this place, but its enjoy) and in the 4D Discovery Theater (hopefully, all cinemas will be like that para hindi matulogan yong movie). The scariest ride is the Jungle Log Jam, it is absolutely dangerous. I swear that I will not ride at that again because it has no safety belts and the only safety precautions is don’t stand (what if u forgot,pwede ka mahulog). The ride Anchors Away is also scary for me.. The rides Wheel of fate (you can see the whole enchanted and the place surrounding it), Up Up and Away (makalipong) and many more. Splash Island on the other hand is also exciting. The unforgettable slide is the Magellans Drop ‘coz it’s so enjoy at the same time scary. The next destination is purely in manila. We went to MOA (Mall of Asia; it has a big space), Trinoma and other malls. We also enter in the Manila Ocean Park. There is so many different kinds of fish, seahorses (first time I see it personally), big sting rays and other.
Over all, I enjoy it so much. It is one of the unforgettable vacation I had.
