Almost every girl in this world wishes to celebrate there 18th birthday with a big party but because of financial constraints it will not anymore be fulfilled as what they’ve wanted. When my 18th birthday is fast approaching, I did not wish to have a party like having the 18 roses, candles and treasures. All I want to have in that day is just a plain party like the other party that came in my life. I have some reasons why I don’t want to have a big party with all the 18 roses and the like, and that reason is personal. Unfortunately, I’m not the one who will decide to what will be happening on my birthday but my parents and my aunts. They were the one who are so busy arranging the party and I’m not that excited to see the party they have prepared. The only contribution I made is to invite and settle who will be placed in the 18 roses, candles and treasures.
The day before my birthday, I thought the party is all set but as my aunts told me about the attire, we have a little argument. I already told my visitors to where pants but my aunt disagrees because I have to let my visitors wear semi-formal attire. I’m mad because as I texted my friends about the attire, almost all of them back out. On the day of my birthday (before the program starts), I cried because some of the persons listed in the program cannot make it because of some reasons (I know they were just making some excuses). Though my visitors are not that many, the program is successful because the important persons in my life are present.
Despite of what had happened, I’m so grateful that my parents and my aunts made that party because it’s exciting and unforgettable. I am so thankful that my friends really came though one of them got lost and arrived at the party late. (hehe.. sori..) Well, I’m already a young lady, considered as “the legal one” ‘coz pwede nako makulong and a mature girl. In that case, I cannot say that I’m completely matured because I usually depend on my parents but I think I’m responsible enough.. (haha..pagsure..)
